VB Enterprise 4.0 UID Management is also a compilation of software applications each of which is intended to provide functionality necessary to manage UID status and serialized items, e.g. labels, packaging, components or end products following their production and before they are finished goods used for order fulfillment.

UID Management – Manage UID Status supports UID status revision from initial procurement (UID Procurement) at any level of packaging (e.g. item, case, and pallet) up to and including order fulfillment. Manage Labels supports shipping, receiving and tracking of serialized labels or fiscal stamps up to product application. Workflow Client operates on a designed work flow management concept, which provides complete flexibility in customization to varying industry or customer operations scenarios. Literally any work flow or business process can be mirrored including product receipt, inventory, pick and pack and shipment from a brand owner's distribution center or a third party location. It also operates on intelligent handheld scanning devices for wireless use in remote locations with or without Internet access, e.g. third party wholesale or retail, production fields etc.
