VB Enterprise 2.0 Administration is a full-featured tool enabling Verify Brand Customer Service or the customer to initially configure software at deployment and dynamically administer every aspect software application use for users, products or components (e.g. labels, stamps or packaging) or locations going forward. In addition separate administrative functions allow client, system and workflow administration.

Administration
The VB Enterprise Administrator role will allow the Client Administrator to administer various components of the VB Enterprise Software Suite; UID Procurement, UID Management, UID Authentication, Locations, Users, Products, and Reporting. This will include adding/managing users, roles, client information (locations, addresses), and user rights/functionality.

The Client Administrator will have access to three separate administrative functions: User Administration (User Admin), Client Information Administration (Client Information), and Workflow Administration (Workflow Admin). All three functions can be accessed by clicking on the Administration menu in VB Enterprise.

Client Administration
The Client Administration will allow the Client Administrator to manage client information, include addresses, locations, location types, UID information, container types, units of measure, report roles, info field parameters, and product information. To access the Client Administration options, the Client Administrator clicks on the Administration menu in VB Enterprise and clicks on Client Administration.

Product Administration
The Product Administration menu allows the Client Administrator to manage unique lines (products), unique line (product) locations, UID groups, and destinations. To access the Product Administration options, the Client administrator clicks on the Administration menu in VB Enterprise, clicks on Client Information, and clicks on Product Administration.

Workflow Administration
The Workflow Administration functionality will allow the Client Administrator to manage the UID Management client, including individual workflows, clients, client/workflow associations, workflow parameters, info fields, and default values. To access the Workflow Administration options, the Client Administrator clicks on the Administration menu in VB Enterprise and clicks on Workflow Admin.

Alerts
Alerts are based on business rules configured for deployed VB Enterprise applications. Alerts are configured by the System Administrator, under the Message Administration tab. Common events that can be configured for alerts are:

• Business rules define configuration
• UID Procurement requests
• UID activation or status change
• Invalid user access
• Invalid UID
• Duplicate UID
• UID authenticated more than the allowed number
• UID is in the wrong location
